A poem

A brand new home without refrain, altitudes unknown speak your name
Let the light break through stand tall and proud, let the strings stretch out and vocals loud
Let yourself go be innocent again, embrace the eyes of your child
Stepping out of your fears, breaking boxes, beginning beams for all to see This is one big bravo bathroom... blessing beats, being brave to be me! This is art and we are the paints to be seen, splashing ourselves around this canvass... like rainbow flowers breathing in the sun!

when i heard this on accoustic night in rocky i was so, i dunno, i guess filled with inspiration or wonderment or peace or maybe all of the above and it filled me up to where i kinda felt centered and relaxed and i was sooo close to crying as it was truly heartfelt and breath taking, it hit home for me, for some reason, this rocky camp was veeery emotional for me, as the last one was more of a point-to-be-made experience, this one got to me a bit more personally.

whether it was coz i finally could break away from everything happening here, or maybe coz music had been very absent in my life up til then i dont know, but all i wanted to was play and play and play, at points my body refused to do anymore but the drive was still there, it was interesting, the world never feels real outside the camp, all of us wish it would never end. this year felt different, hmmmm

i can't even begin to describe it. but WOW
